Whole Foods

Whole Foods Market is a great place to shop if you are looking to buy healthier and save money at the same time. I shop regularly at Whole Foods because they support things that I am passionate about like the Non-GMO Project, Organic Living, the Fair-Trade Alliance and more. They also support local farms.

I am a big fan of Whole Foods but not their non-grocery area. I shop online for all my natural products. I use vitacost.com. Its about a 3rd or 4th of the price at Whole Foods.

I question local farmers. Yes, it is a wise thing to use local farmers, but they do use pesticides.
We have a large local farmer here and folks come from miles for their good prices, but they use pesticides just like commerical farmers. Maybe not as heavy, but pesticides are pesticides any way you look at it.
Unfortunately Whole Foods now has conventional produce. Their PC is showing.
